Early Bird Discount - Any member booking on or before 30th April 2025 will receive a bar voucher to value of £7.50 and any visitor booking on or before 30th April 2025 will receive a bar voucher to value of £10.

Gents Tee Times from 7;30 am through to 11 am. Seniors Tee Times from 11;07 through to 2 pm om Monday only. If travelling groups or those looking for a tee time out with their allocated times please contact the shop and club will try to accommodate any reasonable request.  

Leading 8 players in each of the scratch, Low Handicap and Handicap sections from the two qualifying rounds on Monday and Tuesday play–off in match play rounds. Handicap index sections will be Scratch – 10 and 11 and over subject to entry level and may be modified slightly due to WHS update implications. Consolation tournaments on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for non-qualifiers and players eliminated during the match play stages

A total prize fund of £3000+* will be available.

CONDITIONS

The competition will be open to amateur golfers and will be played in accordance with R & A rules and the local rules of King James VI Golf Club.

Maximum handicap index for competitions is 24.0 Handicap at start of play on Monday will apply for both qualifying rounds.

Players with a higher handicap index can enter however the maximum handicap will apply for all competition play. 

In the qualifying stages any player eligible for more than one prize will be awarded the highest value prize available.

In the event of a tie in the qualifying stages, the best last round or count back shall decide.

In the event of one of the qualifying rounds not being completed due to adverse weather conditions, qualification for the match play stages will be based on the one completed round.

All entries to include  Name, Address, Home Golf Club and Handicap.

Entry times will be allocated on a ‘first come first served basis’ although every effort will be made to allocate times within a reasonable time slot to large groups travelling together.

Trophies will be retained at King James VI Golf Club. The Draw will appear on the club website.

The Competition Committee reserve the right to reject any entry not complying and to amend any of the competition conditions.
