King James VI Golf Club

Course OVERVIEW

A parkland course, fairly flat and an easy walk, the course is situated on Moncreiffe Island in the middle of the River Tay and is accessed by a footpath over the railway bridge.  Smallish well guarded greens demand accurate tee shots to set up approaches to the pins.  The course is surrounded by a floodbank, with out of bounds marked along the top of it all the way around except on holes 11 to 13.  The rough is short but deceptively thick, and there is an abundance of trees, meaning if you find yourself in the rough you will very often be obstructed by trees too.
